Day 8 of Tim Holtz’s Creative Chemistry 101 class at onlinecardclasses.com . It’s all about crackle and paint today.
My first attempt is for a technique called Dabber Resist Technique:
Using acrylic paint to stamp on canvas to make a resist before using distress stains for the background.
The second technique is called Shattered Stains. It uses clear crackle paint and then you add distress dyes on top. I think my tags are just about the creepiest things I’ve ever made. lol But I kinda like it!
I promise no lizards or chameleons that we have here in Florida were used to make this leather looking escustion and key for this tag. And I also didn’t use any real blood or organs for my second tag with the blood splattered tag back ground. lol Should be Halloween, huh?
And the last technique for the day is Crackle Paint Resist.
It’s full of so much texture. I just love it.
