Inspired by Lemons!
I’ve been in art mojo mode the last week. Taking the Tim Holtz class made me decide to take a Donna Downey class.
I love to paint and make collages. I had a foam stamp with lemons on it laying in my craft room staring at me. lol I knew I had to use it in something.
Today I took a 8 x 10 canvas and covered it in masking tape and gesso. Painted and stamped acrylic paints on it. I used some Tim Holtz Distress stains, inks, and markers on this project. I added dimensional leaves and silk lemon blossoms. I wanted to convey the “If Life gives you lemons make lemonade ” sentiment. I figured it will all be okay because I have lemons I can sell and figure out the rest! My mind is weird I know.
Hopefully the antique crate label, grocery store sign look comes through. It was fun.
